Lizzie Rothwell, product development manager

Experience: Lizzie is a former Lecturer from the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan where she taught courses in digital design and architectural theory in addition to advising and coordinating use of the school’s digital fabrication facilities. She has worked with architecture, landscape architecture and furniture and product design practices in Michigan, New York and Pennsylvania.

Community: Spent a summer in Guatemala helping local craftspeople in a small town establish a metal shop and a line of products that could be produced there.

Interests: Reading, cooking, learning about and living in other cultures.

Fun Fact: Her great-grandfather Sundel Doniger invented X-Acto knives!

Education: B.A. in Philosophy from Swarthmore College in 2002 and Masters of Architecture with Distinction from the University of Michigan in 2007.
