Joshua Appleman, digital tooling manager
Experience: Joshua is a designer with an expertise in generative design – especially with the inclusion of random numbers and unpredictable inputs – and is well versed in parametric modeling with CATIA.
Community: Volunteered with L.I.F.E Argentina for four months where he taught math and acted as a mentor for disenfranchised children in Buenos Aires.
Interests: Stand up comedy, photography, triathlons, travel.
Fun Fact: Has traveled to 6 continents and 30+ countries, and has a strong sense of adventure that ranges from white water rafting in Alaska, skydiving in Australia and a 330ft bungee jump over Victoria Falls in Zambia.
Education: Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning in May 2009.
