Brett Chisholm | SVP of Sales and Customer Experience


Brett joined Blu Homes in February 2012, a career move reflecting his ongoing interest in selling leading edge and next generation technologies into new markets. He was drawn to the mission of Blu Homes: create beautifully designed green homes that leverage technology and an innovative home building model to revolutionize both the product and customer experience.

Originally VP of Sales, Brett’s charge was to build a world-class sales team and ramp up sales growth. In his expanded role as senior vice president of Sales & Customer Experience, Brett has added direct oversight for the project management team. In this role he can provide additional competitive differentiation by assuring exceptional customer experience and service throughout the entire process.

Brett came to Blu Homes from another leading edge technology company – Nuance. There he served as VP of Sales for the Americas for the Enterprise/Mobile Division and demonstrated his signature style: devising innovative sales strategies, establishing an aggressive sales discipline, building strong teams, expanding the pipeline and producing double- and triple-digit sales growth YOY.


Brett, his wife and his three young children welcome into their home foster children from the Boston area. They bring structure, safety, love and guidance to little children waiting for a permanent placement.

Brett and his wife are actively involved in their community’s organic gardening cooperative. In a new twist on the CSA (community supported agriculture) model, each member family grows produce on the family plot and pools the harvest to share among the group.


Unabashedly competitive, Brett loves to win, both as sales hunter and athlete. He is known for his determination, drive and innovative thinking. Brett is equally passionate about building high performance sales teams and creating a strong company culture.


Brett earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Rhode Island.
